The advancement of the arts, culture and heritage, in particular music, dance and drama for the public benefit by:

  1. Presenting, promoting and performing orchestral and other musical works of artistic merit including dance and drama collaborations;

  2. Advancing education in music and the musical arts through workshops, masterclasses, training programmes, demonstrations, mentoring, digital resources and other educational activities;

  3. Providing opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to engage with, learn about and participate in music-making and musical appreciation;

  4. Supporting the development of musicians, composers and other music professionals, particularly emerging artists, through performance, training and professional development opportunities;

  5. Increasing access to high-quality musical experiences for communities that may otherwise face barriers to participation, including young people, disadvantaged groups and underserved communities;

  6. Commissioning, creating, preserving and disseminating musical works and related cultural resources; and

  7. Undertaking such other activities as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objects.
